At Stake in this Election:
- The Presidency of the Slovak Republic
- Chief of State: President Zuzana ČAPUTOVÁ (since 15 June 2019)

- Assembly: unicameral National Council (Narodna Rada) with 150 seats
- The President is directly elected by an absolute majority popular vote in 2 rounds if necessary. The President serves a 5-year term.
- Members of the National Council are directly elected in single and multi-seat constituencies.
- The last presidential election was held in 2019. The first round of elections was held on March 16 and the second round was held on March 30. Zuzana ČAPUTOVÁ won the presidency in the second round, receiving 58.4% of the vote. Voter turnout was 41.79%.

- Voter registration deadline: Voter registration is not required for A) Slovak citizens who wish to vote within their municipality of residence and B) Slovak citizens with a permanent residence abroad. Slovak citizens who wish to vote in a different municipality must apply for a voter card by 4 March.
