Members of the Supreme Council (Jogorku Kenesh) are directly elected via a majoritarian single non-transferable vote system to serve 5-year terms.
The last election for the Supreme Council was held on November 28, 2021. Ata-Jurt won 15 seats, Ishenim won 12 seats, Yntymak won 9 seats, Alliance (Альянс) won 7 seats, Butun Kyrgyzstan won 6 seats, and Lyman Nuru won 5 seats. Voter turnout was 35%.
