This Popular Consultation, a form of a referendum in Mexico, was organized by the National Electoral Institute and will take place 1 August 2021. The question is: 

"Do you agree or not that the pertinent actions be carried out, in accordance with the constitutional and legal framework, to undertake a process of clarification of the political decisions made in recent years by political actors aimed at guaranteeing justice and the rights of potential victims?"

The threshold for this referendum to be considered binding is a 40% registered voter turnout.
