The election of members of the National Assembly’s 9th legislature and the 2nd Provincial/Capital People’s Councils (PC) took place on Feb 21, 2021 simultaneously. 224 candidates from all 18 constituencies contested the 164 seats in the National Assembly and 788 candidates competed for 492 seats on Provincial People’s Councils.
