General Information
The term of membership in the House of Representatives is five calendar years, commencing from the date of its first session.
Elections for a new House are held during the 60 days preceding the end of its term. The first session for the current Parliament was held on the 10th of January 10, 2016, so according to the constitution the term of this parliament expires on the 9th of January 2021 and the new election is expected to be held within the 60 days prior that date.
