• The last elections to the Legislative Assembly were held on 2 February 2014, alongside the presidential election. The National Liberation Party won the most seats with 18, followed by the Citizens’ Action Party (14), Broad Front (9), and the Social Christian Unity Party (8). No party won a majority, and coalitions formed after the election were temporary.
